New Option for Marine Gear located in Southern Calfiornia!

Having spent most of his life in and around boats and the ocean in California, Mike Trussell thinks he may be providing an option to the boating community for quality pre-owned marine gear.

After an excellent night rest and coffee in hand, Mike was climbing out of his 36’ Pearson 367 in the Ventura Harbor and was met by one of his dock mates. “Hey Mike….do you know where I can sell this used gear”? The seed was planted that morning and occupied Mike’s entrepreneur mind and creative juices began to flow for weeks to come! With a little research and brain storming with friends, it became apparent to Mike that this business model could provide the community with options when looking for marine gear and equipment. Shortly thereafter, Mike happened upon a “For Lease” sign displayed in a Ventura store that had previously been occupied by an inflatable boat retailer and the rest was history.

Mike’s Consignment Marine Supply (Mike’s CMS) opened in May 2017 on Harbor Blvd, near the entrance to the Ventura Harbor and located near the cross streets of Spinnaker and Harbor Blvd. Mike’s CMS has a huge selection of pre-owned marine gear including all sail boat and power boat hardware from refits or upgrades in addition to sails, winches & handles, anchors, chain, props, BBQ’s, solar panels, fenders and much more. All those little things that you’ve been looking for and can’t find may be on one of our shelves. In addition to the retail store, Mike’s CMS has a separate warehouse on premises to display the larger items such as booms, spinnaker and whisker poles, propane stoves and ovens, refrigerators, emergency life rafts, outboards, anchors and chain, and the list goes on!
